Understanding Embargo Associations
Global Watch identifies how each embargo finding is associated with a property. This prevents a record linked through a registered identity from being mistaken for a polygon that intersects the property itself.
Association types
| Label | Meaning | Map behavior |

| Spatial occurrence on the property | The embargo was found through a property or geometry match. | The occurrence can be shown, hidden, and inspected on the map. |
| Linked to the registered responsible party | The embargo was found through an identity registered for the property. This does not assert legal ownership. | The record appears in the list and details, but is not presented as a map occurrence. |
Privacy
CPF and CNPJ values are not displayed for registered-identity embargo findings. The association label communicates why the finding is relevant without exposing the registered identity document.
Reviewing a finding
- Open a location's Compliance section or the compliance panel on the map.
- Select Embargoes.
- Read the association shown with each finding.
- Open the finding for public process and source details.
- Use map visibility controls only for findings labeled as spatial.
Older source records may not provide an association label. Global Watch keeps their existing behavior and does not infer an ownership relationship.
